Better throttle body for LS3

I'm looking for a better replacement for the stock LS3 throttle body.

My Camaro has only basic modes. CAI, long tubes, HF cats, axle back exhaust and tune.

I planned to buy Bo white stage 3 ported TB, but it didn't work out.

Which way to go now?

I've read older threads, but maybe newer and better things are available.

What do I expect ...?
Slight increase in power and better response to the accelerator pedal.

Even though I have a tune that has improved the delay, I am still not satisfied.

Thanks to everyone who can help with the selection.

George

I've been told it's a total waste of money. :shrugs:

Nah, I have had a VMAX ported TB on my 2011 Camaro SS since, well 2011!! It was 1 of the first mods I did. Didn't give me anymore power, but what it did do is get rid of the dead/dull spot I have right around 12-1300rpm's. Made the throttle response more quicker and no more dull spot. Also I had a K&N CAI on there before the TB change. In my book, well worth the money for me. Then after that in 2012 I did the LT's and a dyno tune with aftermarket exhaust.Hope this helps ya..

I read a lot of good about V-max.
But I found them available on their website.
Sold.

I was still thinking about Jannettyracing.

I don't think it's a waste of money.
The throttle body themselves don't put much on the table.
But as part of several modes, it will be noticeable.

I don't think the local tuners know exactly what they're doing.
And I don't really want to send TB overseas.
Many times it happened that the shipment was lost

Katech sells them, no core required. They are a bit pricey though. I believe they offer international shipping, but not 100% sure.

I hear about Katech for the first time.
What is meant by no core required?

Core would be sending the OEM one back or paying additional.

You don't need to send them your throttle body. They sell you a new ported unit.

Yea I gotta say though, for the little money it cost, it was one of the best "little" mods I have done that actually made a big difference in my throttle response, night and day.. When I did mine they sent me one and when I got it and installed it and sent mine back got a 150 buck core charge refund, so I think it ended up costing about 150 bucks!!! Worth it..

So they offer international shipping.
But with all taxes is $933

I envy you so much, that you don't have to pay such nonsense
