The daily driver and winter beater is a 2003 MINI base model. 107,000 miles and been in the family since 2008 when it had 40,000 miles. It was my daughter's and she sold it to me with 84,000 miles on it.

It has two sets of rims with Firestone Winterforce tires on it now. 1.6 liter inline-4, 115 hp and 110 lb/ft torque. It weighs 2315 pounds. Uses 91 octane and averages 30 mpg.

Really fun car for a beater. The steering is super quick, it's a 5-speed, and with the summer tires it sticks pretty well. In the winter, it's pretty amazing in the snow.

I drive the Camaro year round. But with four days in the low 20s or teens this week I will keep it in the garage. If I need to go somewhere I'll borrow my wife's 2008 GMC Envoy Denali.

I bought a set of snows for my 17 fifty. After all it’s just a car. Drive the damn thing. Chances are you won’t be alive long enough for it to be worth a bundle.

I had to brush all the salt off the other day, take a look in 3rd picture and ask me if my pretty Camaro would like that abuse LOL
The best part about having a $3K beater is not caring about it... I had someone slam their door into mine in a parking lot, leaving a nice long dent in the passenger side door. No care. I won't even wash it through winter.

Exactly, I care to a point but nothing like my Camaro. Just picked up this New 2017 Arcadia Denali the other day and will be family all year round vehicle for us -

Yeah, but I’d rather deal with snow than excessive heat, drought, hell fire, earthquakes, and a guaranteed direct nuclear hit from North Korea.
