Drag radials are certainly a good idea. Maybe I'll try the Mickey's next spring. I think most of the bad launch was my fault though. Thanks for watching! Last edited by travislambert; 10-16-2016 at 02:34 PM. |

Here are the timeslips to go with the videos. I'm in the right lane for both (as you can see in the video).

Your trap speeds are pretty awesome so once you get the launch down and some good 60 ft. times I think your ETs will come in where you want them. The car certainly is making the power. Good luck and happy hunting for traction and good launches (the never ending challenge for all us 6MT guys).

Did you get your engine and tune from ADM? What kind of tires are you running at the strip?

The tires I ran at the strip are the Michelin Pilot Super Sports I put on Friday (post #52 has details and pics). |

What would you say is the total investment on your project?

I spent about $20,000 on top of the price of the car which was a little over $50,000. I hope to get about $6,000 of that back when I sell the LT1 engine. So about $64,000.
The wheels and tires were a big part of the expense, and I probably wasted at least $1,500 along the way ordering wrong parts, etc. Of course that happens when you have to figure everything out on your own. |

I'm gonna go with PSS's as well... curious why you choose that size instead of the OEM 305/30 and 285/30...?

I'm happy with the decision so far. When it's time for tires again I suspect I'll still go with the 295/35s and the 275/35s. |
