I just finished making a couple adjustments to mine. I had to make it fairly easily removable in order to get it on my trailer. Takes about 5 min to get it on/off. I also made some carbon fiber air curtain vent block off plates.

I'm going to add side fences like yours(haven't seen a double fence like that before) and I already have plans for a second iteration with diffuser tunnels.

I have never seen that double winglet deal either, I wish I had access to a wind tunnel to test that out, I've thought about removing one, and I may, but the previous owner said he really liked it.

Mines not easily removable, but you don't need to remove the number to get it off. I haven't tried to get it on the trailer, it'll be close. How much extension do you have? With my car already pretty low and the 18 inch wheels, I'm a little concerned it'll scrape.

Looks really good! Lot more surface area there. Nice work.

I really tried to get that APR to work out, but it was an uphill battle the whole way. It was never going to be functional or sturdy.

I have a couple of 7 ft 2x10s and a tilting aluma 18ft trailer. It would probably clear height wise, but width wise I would have to take off both trailer fenders and then it would still be close to the trailer tires.

Did you get that from Johnny?

It looks like a racebred splitter with that honey comb look.

It is a racebred. I bought it off a kid named Ryan, it was on his 18 ss 1le.

I did not remove anything other than the plastic cover below the trans cooler.

Edit: I just noticed eimarshall covered up those inlets, clearly you were not referencing mine.

No. I made my own mounts with some elevator bolts and generic door latches. Ill take some pics later this week. I need to reinforce the latch mounts but it holds my weight around the front splitter rods. I’m kind of unimpressed with the PA rods. They are ok, but more finicky to adjust than jam nut style rods. I have another pair of them hidden behind the outside edges of the bumper providing support on the sides. Then i got paranoid and put some angle iron on the splitter for reinforcement since its only half inch plywood.

No, the ducting for them on the SS1LE is actually from the lower outer corners of the main radiator inlet. The aux radiators do impinge quite a bit on where i want to run the diffusers, but i think i can sneak the diffusers underneath.
The only thing those outer vents supply are the air curtain outlets in front of the wheel. I saw AJ Hartman made some small block off plates for his GT350’s air curtain vents. He of course had wind tunnel data that showed the air curtains actually increased drag when running wider wheels(air was just directed onto the wheel instead of around the face). I am just guessing of course, but i save a few pounds without the DRLs and it was my first foray into carbon fiber fabrication.
