How many track days did you get out of your Hawk pads?

So I am doing my 7th track days on Hawk DTC 60s. I think I have a few more in them, but I wanted to see how many days you guys got out of a set of yours.

Crap, that sounds pretty good. I get 4 (nasa days about 5.5 hours) out of my carbotech xp12s. Put some xp20s up front this time to see how they do but only got 2 days in them so far.

Also hours would be a better gague than days.

11... ELEVEN?!?

What in the hell compound are you running that you can get 11 track days out of your pads?

Summary, I believe your survey choices to be inaccurate.

...but that's just me.

I have tried xps and cobalts. They are super easy to burn through. dTcs on the other hand last much longer. Like 2x. Probably harder on the rotors

I run DTC70 and DTC60s ALL the time including DAILY driving and I typically get 10 track days out of them which is about 3 months for me. LOL

The only time that's a problem is if your brake pistons are not moving in and out normally and in that case typically the pads will be dragging against the rotors causing some unnecessary wear. I will also say that yur driving style makes a HUGE difference in your pad life. I try to be OFF the brakes as much as possible LOL

I respectfully disagree. Endurance type pads last much longer than fast burn pads like Carbotechs. I have gotten about 4 days out of CTs, and over 12 from a compound like PFC 08. I knew what I was doing with my survey choices.

I don’t expect too many in the 11+ Category, but we shall see. Already a few n 8-10. I will get at least 9 out of mine I think.

Thanks for sharing, and fully agree with this. TCS off, and stay off the brakes unless you’re slowing down for the turn in, or transferring weight. I also try not to brake until I see God.

Depends on a lot of things like: Are you using slotted rotors. When are you changing them. Some people run then down very low, while other replace them when there is .080" or more left. What tracks are you running, high speed, medium speed, low speed. How many laps per day, etc.
