LG Motorsport headers

Im wondering if anyone runs these headers:

https://www.lgmotorsports.com/camaro...-8-header.html

and if you do, do you run them with the stock NPPs im curious on how they sound.

ive only seen one video of a ZL1 with them on, does anyone have them on their SS?

Wondering the same thing

LG Motorsports is about 30 minutes from the house and they'll install and tune headers for, if I recall, about $2300. Was curious if anyone ran them what what they thought of them as well

I gotta wonder how any of these catted systems with a Y are worth $1000 more than TSP's . That is serious cash.

They are great headers but we can find you a comparable set considerably cheaper.

LG makes good stuff. I had a set of their Super Pros on my C5Z and they worked and fit great.

The two things I look at are the initial turn down from the head, is it smooth and is there a nice radius? These look like the are very smooth and look to be straight off the header flange for 1/2 before turning down. The second thing to look at are the two pipes closes to the fire wall (the back port). Is it close to the length of the rest (same length is not needed on cross plane crank engines). You can tell the LG snakes this pipe in and out just to get some added length, so one again an excellent design.

My dad has an 2006 C6 Corvette he had dynotuned at LG. I can’t speak to price but I went with him to the shop, and got to play with their Rottweilers while they worked on it. They ran it on the dyno literally all day, trying to get all the power they could out of it. I know their headers run pricey but I can say, I bet they’d do everything they could to make it run as perfectly as they can. They’re good guys.

LG has always been top notch. i’d guess their headers make the same power as every other header on the market. the difference is going to be labor, product quality and product support.

edit fun fact: i bought an early LG donkey dick camshaft out of juggernauts car. we ended up putting it in a budget rebuild ls1 for my friend’s a4 car back in 2006. same motor is still together and running in the same car (and same owner). it has 50k-ish miles and prob 50 bottles at 200 hp through it.

one must still bow a head to the don of the modern sbc.
