Pretty sure TSP is China. Kooks is definitely US steel. ARH is US steel too.

TSP is definitely China. No thanks.

I just bought Dynatech 2” headers. Made in Indiana. Welds are very nice, quality looks top shelf. I think JRE uses Dynatech too.

For what it’s worth, I just finished installing my 2inch Texas speed long tubes and their x pipe yesterday and had no issues with installation or fitment.

I went with Texas Speed 1 7/8" and had them coated. Shop that did the work had them installed in less than 3 hours. Excellent fitment and great clearance around the important bits (wiring, etc.). Was still able to use the factory plug wires too with no problems. Thick flanges, excellent welds, and smooth bends. No complaints.

If i were to do it again, I would have gotten them coated at time of purchase, no questions about it. Then install them and be worry free.
Thanks. Heck, I get start up issues after driving on a hot day with stock manifolds.

I think I'll go with catted 1-7/8" Kooks. Not looking for every bit out of the engine.

need to wrap the starter and heat wrap the header pipes only at the starter location. The rest of the header has to "breath". But that would be in my opinion.

What coating is that? Mine are coated with Cerakote Glacier black and look just like that. Just curious if that’s what you have as well.

C-112 Cobalt. https://www.cerakote.com/shop/cerako...g/C-112/cobalt

I wanted something to mimic the look of cast iron. This color nails it.
