I did ppf on bumper, splitter, canards, fenders, rockers, qtr panels, hood c/f insert, and wing. And, a ceramic coat at the same time. $2700.00
They used matte ppf on black satin parts. |

I actually had my 2017 GS and 2017 Z06 done there. They did a great job. But this time the owner had some new kid do half my car and the wrap was terrible. I told him for $7k I wanted him to redo those parts. Best he was willing to do was trim off the parts that were peeling. WTF. $7k for a wrap and you don't even stand by your work. Never getting my business again. ... Sorry needed a little rant.

East Bay Auto Spa...looks like they do good work, but I’m not a buyer at north of $7k. The Bay is crazy, I want Miami pricing again...
I would have been pissed too...won’t be going to Go Wraps. |

I just had the front bumper, fenders, doors, and rockers and splitters mirrors and headlights for 2350$
FactorAutoFilm in Kelowna, he was at Sema and has a great reputation I am thrilled with the work I would assume 5750$ for the entire ZL1 to be fair |

Especially with the tires on these beasts...so sticky, throwing rocks all over even up into the brakes I find with mine

I had everything but the doors, rear quarter panels and rear bumper wrapped in XPEL and it was $3700 USD or about $5K CAD.

I was about 5k for full hood, carbon fiber heat extractor, full front bumper, doors, mirrors, and rockers and ceramic coat remainder of the car (optic-coat). I am in NorCal (Sacramento area).

Clear bra over the whole car is a must if you dont want a single rock chip. In my 1LE I had several just from the 20 mile trip home from the dealer when it was new. All on the front of the rear fenders from those sticky front tires. Its a must.

Can't even imagine how many chips those without PPF have on their cars. Did the whole front, hood, front fenders, rockers, front of rear wheels, mirrors and A pillers for $2K in 3M Pro.

Honest question.
You spend 2-5k+ for no rock chips. Do you think you will get that back at trade in/sale or will it still be book value?

To answer your question, no. Like has been said, "if you plan on keeping the car, it's a must". The paint on these cars is really thin and prone to chips. The thought of having a $70K car full of chips all over the car takes the pride out of owning one. Most of us have worked hard to get the money to just buy one.

Chicago Wrap
Does anyone here know of a trusted place to wrap their car in Northern Chicagoland? I just picked up a 2019 1LE and need to wrap the car before any damage from road rash happens.
Thank you! |
