Cleaning Key fob?

Hey guys,
I know first world problems right? But I’m curious. My key fob symbols are a little yellow after 2 years which is weird never had it happen. Any ideas how to clean them back to white? What to use to clean the fob in general?

Well, I don't advise it, but mine when through an entire wash/dry cycle a few weeks back. Looks nice, but I'm probably lucky it still works.

Cleaning Key fob?

Run it through the washing machine. I left my Silverado fob (I just got the truck Saturday) in my pocket yesterday. It got washed and still works

Take the battery off and send it for a spin in the washing machine. Let it dry properly for few days and you're done. Never done it but I don't see why it wouldn't work.

I would not try it though haha. The price of those things is not worth trying.

Use an alcohol prep pad, you can find them in the diabetic section at walmart. I use them all the time to clean various electronics and as adhesive remover.
