what's the reason for the dropoff on the base pull at a lower rpm than the pull with the sc?

Maybe some experts will add their thougths, They spent half a day or more tuning, had theri best guys on it. I and I don't know enough to speak on anything but I am defintely happy with all the extra HP, Jesus it pushes you back into your seat and says keep bringing it!!
I was only puzzled by the 309 stock rwhp when most say, even one of their guys said should be 270 ish with drive train loss.....Oh who knows. Do you have an answer to your own question? |

Thanks that sounds reasonable why stock was tad high, you agree HP at crank is likely around 500 to 520 assuming drive train loss? They READ me riot act to always put 93 octane in or engine will be ruined, yeesh!
I need to try the included 0 to 60 timer though dont know how accurate it is. Chevy always stated 5.1 stock though most I seen from owners were bit more like 5.4 or so. You think it would be closer to 4.0 now, but same as above SS owners, usually tad higher. Always look up about what rpm you should be at when you launch on with automatic to get best number. |

Ok good deal. Some of these entry level low boost kits don't, and as a result they lose a ton of power from heat soak. They make okay dyno numbers, but nowhere near that in the real world

Geez u guys
Before and after #'s is something practically nobody gets these days. Dummies just post their final #'s for bragging rights. They don't know any better. Dyno is a tool 309 to 433 seems reasonable for this setup

Gotta love the extra room the V6 offers under the hood.
Looks like you have a solid performer. Enjoy. |

"Stock" numbers seem legit. It had a trifecta tune and a CAI. Also it says it's a 5th gear pull. If it's an auto 5th isn't 1:1 ratio so it still "multiplying" torque slightly, so number will be a little higher. My car with basically a CAI made 303rwhp, 4th(M6 so not a 1:1 ratio) gear pull.
I've been eyeballing the Procharger kit for some time now. Just can't bring myself to pull the trigger because I live in California(not smog legal) and not sure I want to keep this car. |

Thats awesome man I am truly glad you are enjoying your procharger setup! The things people have said on here are 100% true although if there was any shop to take your HFV6 engine to other then overkill tuning it weaponx is a good choice since they have vast knowledge into the ats-v engine. The numbers are a scaled a little bit off but you can still figure out your gains with math and remember the gains procharger is advertising is crank no whp. You could go to 10 different dynos and get 10 completely different results but its nice you got a before and after so you know your gains are between 110-130rwhp from the kit. 433 rwhp is not possible without fuel modifications on these engines so we just know they have a happy dyno and nothing wrong with that at all. Just because you are 52 doesnt mean you cant enjoy going to the racetrack there are more 45+ people at the tracks then 20 year olds its fun and something you can do to enjoy the potential of your care in a safe enviroment. You runs will tell you the true power of your car for sure. Stay safe man and enjoy your ride!
