Common Loose Bolts 2018 SS 1LE?
Hi everyone. I was wondering what bolts on 2018 cars people have found to come loose from the factory. I'm putting the car on the lift soon to fix an oil leak which I suspect is from oil pan bolts being loose and would like to check the torque on other problematic bolts if there are any. Currently planning on checking the oil pan bolts and oil cooler bolts. Thanks!

Oil pan was the only loose bolts that I had. Cleared up that little oil leak.

I know the early years of the 6th gen they had to put out TSB’s regarding axle bolts backing out and the sway bar end link bolts. Usually they’re all fixed by now though

I’d suggest you also check the 4 oil cooler bolts on the drivers side of the oil pan.

Thanks everyone for all the responses, will check all the things mentioned and report back on what I find.
Dynamical - my car has 38k miles on it and must have started leaking within the last 3k miles as I would have noticed it during my last oil change |
