Need opinions on my tune please

Car is a 2010 SS LS3

Mods are:

Catless LTH
GMPP exhaust
CAI intake
Monster LT1 clutch kit

Milage is around 45,000 km

The tune is done via hptuners

I have some annoyance in low rpm City driving, the car had the same feeling since stock. I feel that the RPM is jumping up and down while having a steady foot on the gas while cruising. The car doesn't move smoothly i mean it's not harsh at all it just feels weird and annoying. That feeling disappears when the RPM reaches 3k and above.

I really don't know how to explain it or what word to use to describe that feeling.

Thanks in advance,http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/5addfe91...20Tune%204.zip

Do you use premium fuel?
That surging/bucking at low rpms is not normal however this is not the correct forum for 5th gen questions. Maybe someone here can help you but try Camaro5.com

Once you hit the upper RPM, you go into open loop, which doesn't use ant feedback from your oxygen sensors.

Could also be influenced by your MAF. Try unplugging it while the vehicle is running. If it runs different, then you can usually rule it out. (You could give it a good cleaning for good measure though)

If it surged before the car was tuned, I would lean more towards bad oxygen sensors, but there is a possibility that it is due to the tuner.... But he has to be pretty bad to do that to a bolt on setup.

P.s. as mentioned before, this is in the wrong section..... Hopefully a mod will move it. Second off, you might want to attach screen shots of whatever it is that you attached. No sane person is going to download a zip file from a random person on a forum

Thanks for your reply. Really appreciated!

I'll try unplugging the MAF to see how the car will react.

Forum didn't let me upload the tune unless i changed the file type.

Again i apologise for posting in the wrong forum

I would start with a new set of spark plugs and wires, likely you are getting light load misfire.

A copy of your tune and a log of your complaint would also be very helpful.

I offer tune evaluations via email tedj@jannettyracing.com cost is revealed via email.

Ted.
