Interior Lighting Doesn't Illuminate

Hey everyone, I purchased a 2016 SS with 4 K miles on it a few months ago.

It has the color changing interior lights, but they have never come on for me no matter what I've tried.

I have searched the web a bit and have found issues with no shutting off, working or not working after a remote start, but mine haven't come on once.

Not a fuse issue, at least in the engine bay. Is there an in dash/under dash fuse for it also?

Any other ideas? Thanks in advance. Scott

I assume you have already turned the light strips on in the lighting settings on your MyLink screen.

If so, you may need to take it in to the dealership. Hope you are still under warranty.

Yes I have, thanks.

I pulled the fuse cover and none of the descriptions made sense to be the one for the interior lights. Anybody know which number it is or the description of the fuse on the lid? Thanks in advance.

It's in the owner's manual, see below. I say F27 (aka "RGB lights") in the trunk fuse box has a 95% chance of being the one you're after; if it isn't, try F23, that is, body control module fuse #1.

Awesome, thanks. I think that is the one that I had already guessed and checked but will verify tonight.

Thanks again.

I would also double check that you have the colored lights - RPO is C70 should be on your build sticker.

I didn't buy it new but I might have the build sheet, I will check. It does have the settings on the infotainment system, and I can see the light strips on the dash, radio, doors etc.

Also I took it to the dealership for the A8 tranny flush and while there I asked them about it. They couldn't diagnose it same day, but they tried to get them to turn on also and just confirmed that they didn't work.

So, just an update in case anybody has any other suggestions, I had the car at the dealer for the A8 transmission flush under the recall (which I was pumped that they covered it since the car has a maggie SC, LT's and other engine upgrades), and while there I asked them to just verify that they work or not incase I was doing something wrong and they didn't have time to do a full diagnosis....yup, didn't work of course, I checked the fuses mentioned above, nothing blown...
