No hatchback or t-tops! If Camaro production ceases after the 6gen, then let it die and don’t bring it back as a EV or SUV. That’s my opinion.

Another 50 hp on the SS, 150 hp on the ZL1 and the V8. Nothing else.

Keep the manual transmission. That's really about it for me.

Mustang has the Good Neighbor mode. I don't see why Camaro shouldn't have it.

There are some neighbours that aren't very friendly.

Already has it. When you remove the NPP for an aftermarket exhaust, though...

Yes, it is serious. The question is asking what would *I* want to see from a new Camaro. I am also not the only one to suggest this, but kudos to you for explaining a thing that doesn't matter or have any impact on my opinion?

An even lower price V8 option. Something like the GM 5.3 in place of the T4 or V6. Considering the V6 has a starting price of 28k, maybe this could start around 30k? Obviously not very realistic but if it existed for around that price I'd buy it in a heartbeat

Not in the Camaro, no.

Yeah, you can manually put it in Stealth when you start it up, but that requires you to hold the start button for a few seconds, change the exhaust mode to Stealth from the menus(or change the mode to Snow/Ice if your exhaust mode is linked to the drive mode), and then start the car. Finally, you gotta change it back to the mode of your preference.

In a Mustang with Good Neighbor mode, you set up the time period you want the car to be quiet, and it will stay quiet automatically when you start it up. Much easier.

Exact feature? No, you're right.

My point was that there is already something built into the car (even though it's a gigantic PITA to use it the way you're alluding to). If you go aftermarket w/ the exhaust, all bets are pretty much off no matter what, no matter what car.

On the surface, I can appreciate the desire for another V8 option. But...

There's a world of difference between the 5.3 and the 6.2. Adding another V8 option over-complicates things with no real benefit to it. My 5.3 does fine in my truck, but the V6 in the lighter Camaro offers similar performance. The more complicated the options are, the harder these cars are to build the way you want and they end up that much more expensive overall.

For sure, I totally get that. That's why I mentioned I knew that it wouldn't be very realistic. In my particular situation though, something like this would be perfect. For me getting the V8 sound and torque, at the lowest possible cost, would be ideal
