"You had to have a decent job to afford one". Now look at all the Z06's, ZL1's, and GT350s everywhere you look. I loved hearing his friend rehash those memories. Such a great story, awesome man and dad. Glad to see what his son did with it. My dad had a 1968 Pontiac LeMans 350 3 speed when I was little. He bought it brand new while in the Navy. He had a minor accident in it and left it behind a trailer we had lived in, then moved away. He came back looking for it a couple of years later and was mad it was gone. I was way more mad at him than he ever knew.
