Then, you can get good TORQUE calculations that you can apply in a manor, in the VTT, that allow both models to work together to give good information to the TCM to allow it to apply what it needs to for gear-holding pressure and shift pressures. It sounds like a lot of the SHIFT INERTIA and SHIFT TIMING-type definitions aren't as necessary (under the circumstances I just stated for VVE/VTT) except to really fine-tune the shift feel for the driver. At least from my research and courses I've watched. I tend to agree with that, too. My little Sonic is pretty much stock, except for the tune, and I've been able to make it, more or less, as aggressive as I want. Some of those changes apply to this car, too, and I know for sure, even changing VTT from stock under deceleration, can make things less than comfortable if you go the wrong way. HELL - even VTT between gasoline and E85 makes a difference. I'm closer to "optimal" on my E85 side than my gasoline side (at least in terms of the kind of feel I'm trying to achieve).

Personally - I like that I can make TOURING/SNOW a little softer than SPORT/TRACK, because I like feeling the shifts. I don't want old school tire-barking shifts under low load, but I want close to that at WOT. I really only wanted a little more shift aggression than stock, and it's nice to have a lot of the ability to do that. It's fun tuning on the TCM.
It was on the dyno as an NA on E70, made 435/441 and ran 11.64@120.

What table are you doing this in?

Well the weather has sucked here in the Mid West and our track cancelled the TNT tomorrow as the forecast call for rain. Now it's not going to rain so the can't come back and schedule it again so it's gonna be next weekend before we get to hit the drag strip again. Hopefully I'll have everything dialed in.

Well they had cancelled todays TNT and then rescheduled for tomorrow. We are heading out in the morning to see how this T93 unlock helped us out. Need to do a couple logs today as its finally drying up after rain for 4 days in a row. Will log on drag radials first and then I'll switch out to my drag pack/slicks and log before I load up tonight. Should be Ready Freddie.

Thanks, running the bigger pulley first to see what it will run with that since I'll be running a 10.00 index class next month. Then I'll put the smaller pulley back on and try for a personal best.

Took a drive and did a few logs. Obviously traction control off is out of control and bought lost it on cool pavement. All other log were TC on so I don't kill myself or crash the car. It's dam fast for just running 9.5 psi of boost on the 98mm pulley. No know AFR was good, trans shifted very firm and on time so won't really know till we can make some passes tomorrow. Very happy that I got it unlocked but won't know if changes need to be made till after the first launch. Will up date you tomorrow from the track. Lets get in the burnout box and f--king go like a mutha trucka.

Good so far, that is a positive sign. You must be itchin for a good hook and a WOT pass. PS, I touched base with Phil. Seems to be a good guy.

Car is loaded and leaving at 730am, it's about a 2.5 hour drive (155) thru St Louis.
