Make sure your lug nuts are torqued correctly. Thought I read hear a while back that wheels not torqued fully were found to make some clicking noise..

Lug nuts as stated above, or you need to take the wheels off and clean the hub surface. Hopefully that's all there is to it and the wheel bearings are still good; they should definitely be fine on a 2022.

Definitely check the hub surface
My drivers side had a ticking when turning, found some rust cleaned and it went away

I had similar issue - tried all usual tricks, problem solved when I cleaned BEHIND the rotor hat ( aluminum in my case ). Looks like it may have been rust jacking the hub. There was some pretty gnarly aluminum corrosion back there.

I resorted to fluid film after thorough clean up. Issue has not returned .. YET

If I learned anything owning this car: the Camaro is resilient in failing the same way more than once.

Corrosion is not the root cause of the clicking. The wheel is aluminum and the rotor hat is aluminum (at least on 1LE's). There is no galvanic corrosion there. The rotor hat is also anodized, and so will minimize galvanic corrosion between the rotor hat and steel hub. The root cause appears to be a combination of insufficiently torqued lug nuts and/or whatever grease GM was initially applying between the wheel and rotor hat. Ensure the wheel to rotor mating surfaces are spotlessly clean and the nuts properly torqued and that should be the end of clicking noise while turning.

Psssstttt... the bearing hub is STEEL, the rotor hat is aluminum. Now do the chemistries.

Corrosion builds up between these two surfaces.

Proper wheel torque fixed my noise, coming up on 60k pretty soon, still quiet.

As I stated, the aluminum hat is anodized, which prevents galvanic corrosion. That is not the issue.

But for the sake of discussion, explain the mechanism by which corrosion would cause a clicking noise?

Anodized means slows, does not prevent. I can tell you with certain degree of certainty, i been there, I saw the corrosion... rust jacking can happen.

I was fully expecting a bad bearing since noise seemed to happen cyclically - as it rotated under load click, click. Hard to tell in the video, but it was very pronounced from inside cabin.

Found it! Here is back of brake rotor hat - notice all the corrosion marks on the anodized surface.
