2018 Camaro 1LT break system?

Does anyone know if this is a single piston or dual piston system on the stock base 2018 Camaro 1LT.I want to put new rotors and calipers and break pads but I have no clue what system it uses and what's compatible. The code is JL9 Antilock Break System 4 Wheel Disc

I think you mean "Brake" not "break" (that is like you broke something, Brake is what stops your car)...

It looks like they are standard dual piston up front and single piston rear from what I can see...

Single pistons all around UNLESS if it's a Fifty Edition or a 1LE (which gets four-pots up front).

I thought the fronts are 2 piston? Even my Hyundai Sonata is 2 piston fronts.

Wow, looking on RockAuto, it does appear both the front and the back on a 1LT are single piston... I'm shocked, all the Hyundai's I own (2 Sonatas, an Elantra and a Santa Fe) all have 2 piston fronts and single piston rears, I'm shocked that even a relatively base model Camaro (which would way out perform any of my Hyundais) would have singles pistons on front and rear...

The JL9 is more than a capable single piston brake caliper. I tracked my 2LT RS for a couple years upgrading to track pads and Castrol SRF fluid. I ran on BF Goodrich comp 2 and had no issues. Of course I am not there to set track records but the car handled well, broke well, and though the LGX is low on power it was adequate. It was a good car to learn in. The mistake I made was in the third year upgrading to Goodyear F1 SC3 tires, these tires exceeded the capabilities of the caliper. The additional bite in the tire created too much heat and bent the backing plates but at no time did I experience any brake fade. I tucked my tail rebuilt the calipers and decided if I want to track with the F1s again I have to upgrade to big brakes on the front. lesson learned.

SS 1LE or ZL1 1LE both get six-piston fronts and 4-piston rears.

PS - My brakes did break when I braked too hard, and after paying to fix them I'm now broke.
