Subbed! This is definitely going to be quite a build. I can’t wait to see the finished results! Keep up the good work

Good Afternoon Guys,

It has been awhile since I have posted. Haven't done too much this winter with how much is going on at Katech. We have some really cool projects/products in the works that I have been focused on.

I went and fixed all of the pictures on the thread, I believe they are all functional now. I don't think I ever posted any dyno graphs yet, so here is where the car currently sits:

The car makes 800rwhp at 8000 RPM. It's running on pump gas without any issues. I did a test with a slightly smaller pulley, I made 850rwhp around 7700 RPM before the blower efficiency and fuel started to get angry. In a future post, I will go into more detail on the blower efficiency / combination topic to help out anyone with specific power targets on their build.

Long story short, I discovered where the unported 2650 supercharger is happiest (peak rotor speed) before heat and other areas become a factor. If I wanted to make some real power at 8000 RPM, I would have to unrestrict this supercharger, add cooling capacity, and change fuel to something with more detonation resistance (such as E85, race gas, methanol, etc)

Looking forward to the nice weather season this year!

Nice numbers!! Torque curve looks amazing. Got any sound clips of this thing at 8000rpm?!

I do not have any good sound clips yet, I plan on upping the content quality / volume this season though!

Some bonus content that I did not post yet:

Apex VS-5RS group of 6. 4x in OEM sizes 19x11 + 19x12, 2x in 18x12 for a drag set

Chevy Performance Aluminum Cap, fits perfect with the wheels

MBRP R1017 Resonators welded in my tunnel, seam welded in the middle

AEM 50-1005 Aux Pump, using BMRS race grade line, Radium Fuel Filter, DSX T-Fitting

BMRS Fuel Line Routing

AN-12 Fuel Feed Bulkhead

We have a real cool low side solution for these cars coming out very soon. Stay tuned for that.

Thank you for the updates Zach. I keep wondering about the inherent benefits of a lighter flywheel on and off track.

As someone who is a fan of the 911 GT3 - I've always admired the precision and the ability to slice the throttle in so many increments. I know the 992 GT3 now has Individual Throttle Bodies and a LTW flywheel that elevates the experience.

I just wish someone had a video of a ZL1 that shows the before and after with and without the LTW flywheel.

I am almost there on buying in...just need to see it :-)
