They all seem to stock it, but it appears that you have to know the part no.

The stock suction cup works well at the upper right hand corner of the windshield. I angle mine towards me, it works out well except if you have a passenger.

Yes, it's often the case, but these are actually reachable from the catalog root page via Body > Center Console.

Another option for mounting - no screws

I'm installing my Catalyst now and decided to use my Course Motorsports phone mount with their optional 1" ball. The Catalyst sits below the dash/hood line so no interference with visibility.

Our windshields are so short that I feel like anything I put on the glass is going to ultimately obstruct my view. Even using all the extensions I can almost get it to overlap part of the infotainment but it's just short. My other idea was to mount it up high, almost acting like a sun visor.

For those of you who have a catalyst or something similar what have you found to be the best location?

The best location is in the CENTER mounted almost on TOP of the dash. This WILL NOT obstruct your view as you are typically looking at a visual angle that is ABOVE the top of the GARMIN anyway.

Blows me away this works. My unit, even when up near the top of the windshield with a clear view of the sky, sometimes has trouble finding a gps signal… all at the same tracks.

I cant get signal as well that low in the car. Even struggles in the window.

How you all getting signal without the unit not directly in the window?

I sold my garmin because of this, I was getting terrible signal. I switched to the AIM2 Solo DL.

Another option you can try is a GPS repeater like this one: https://webstore.tri-m.com/gps-rf-eq...ater-for-cars/

I used the included suction cup mount on my OEM Carbon fiber dash. Works great!

Can you see that tablet with your peripheral vision when you are driving on the track??? If you cant then thats not ideal is the reason I asked.
