Registration just opened up. Spots are going quickly if anyone is interested.

I'll be there along with a couple of Camaro guys I met at Thunderbolt earlier this year. Anyone from the forum planning to attend?

This is a great event and a great track...ran this event last year. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it this year.

Definetely interested. Can you give any details? I can't seem to find the pricing on their site or the registration site. I assume if I go through the sign up process I'll find it at the end.

What days are you attending, the whole weekend? What run group?

$655 for the weekend. I don't believe you can sign up for individual days. I'll be in Yellow run group.

You have to create an account here... https://www.motorsportreg.com/ I did the same checking the actual track websites looking for info. This site will give you all the track deets for events in a parameter you set!

I'm so sad I had to back out of the Watkins Glen 8/26-28. Work situation is just not cutting it to take that Friday off

I'm going to sign up with NASA in October. They've got availability.

I'm a complete newbie at this track thing. I just know I want to drive this car for what's it's made for. I looked up the NASA and it states it's a club race. Is that something I'd have to swap out fluids and get more in-depth with my car as I read a lot about throughout here? The drivers education the week of the 26th is just an inspection following the specs given. Of course I'd have to go with the instructor courses which I see the NASA has... I just wanna drive for now

I'm now officially signed up for NASA in October.

So you should change your rear diff fluid and swap the brake fluid for some Castrol SRF Dot 4 at a minimum. A track alignment by a trusted shop would be smart too. Then the car is ready to roll on track. What you're looking for are HPDE track days. These are educational driving events, not a race. Some have instructors NASA, HOD, etc. Some don't (Track night in America). I have run with TNIA exclusively since I started, I personally like that they just run afternoon events and for half the price. No instructors in the passenger seat though, just a coach for each group. If you sign up for Novice they will walk you through everything, pace laps to get you up to speed, etc. Other drivers at all these events will be extremely friendly and help you as well. I see you're in North Jersey, come on down to NJMP and join a TNIA event

Club racing is not what you want. Look for HPDE or Driver's Education events. On MotoraportReg, you can filter them out with the tag "Driver School"

There is another event at WGI in October that I'll be at. It's hosted by Hooked On Driving. Check it out
