I really like driving mine.Miss match doesn't mean much, though I believe mine has blended other time.

This is the difference between the plastic and metal the way it looks. I remember the 01 silver C5 vettes had the same problem. Front and back bumpers were way off from the tint of the body. Only the silver ones.

MY riverside blue is also mismatched. But not to the point I would give my baby to anyone...

Now I don't notice.I have been hand washing it almost weekly and use turtle wax spray every 2-3 months. It seems to have blended.About the 3rd week I had it somebody at work asked me if I had wrecked it.I think op car looks great even with miss match.

Mine is very slightly different, but only visible when the light hits it at a specific angle, and even then not obvious like in OP's photo.

As stated above, this is because the bumpers are plastic and the adjacent body panels metal, I don't think there is a realistic solution to make the match perfect at these price points.

Mismatched paint colors on some of these metallics has been a GM issue forever. My 01 Trans Am is terrible. Since it is a Mecham TA I was trying to keep the paint all OEM but I am going to get it sprayed to match this year. Looks like crap.
