2019 2SS Auto MRC Sway Bar Change?

So....I read all the threads tied to sway bars. It is still unclear to me
if changing to SS 1LE bars will improve autocross performance. I assume
in the track mode the shocks get a lot stiffer. If the springs are also stiffer than the non-MRC, then stiffer sway bar may cause too much slip angle.
Don't know enough about the shock /spring combo to make any kind of
knowledgeable decision! Anyone actually do a before and after on a
MRC SS?

Sorry man, but your all over the place.

While stiffer ARB's can impact shock damping, I would not worry greatly about it.

The question here is, what do you want out of the car?

ARB's are like the salt and pepper to your meal. You still need to get all the other aspects correct, and fine tune with the bars. Sure some people like softer springs paired with stiffer bars. But most people chose to let the springs to resist body motions and leave the suspension free to be independent. Which adding stiffer ARB's is going to reduce that independence.

So, adding stiffer bars up front will reduce front end grip and likewise in the rear. Doing both is going to allow the car to change direction faster, but at the cost of peak lateral grip.

This goes back to my first question. What do you want? Do you want to remain in a specifc class. What is the car not doing that you want it to do? You might be able to get enough of a change from tires and alignment and keep in class.

I wouldn't worry specifically about MRC. Yet.

I dont sweat the details, I just do it. Not one to over analyze sh*t. So I installed Hotchkis front bar and BMR rear bat and crushed my personal best and both home tracks!
