Keep us posted , i just opened mine up that i opered from Summit in June and it is a dual Y also , don't really want to have to order a bunch to get one good one.

shame i returned mine so quick, could have just sold it to u instead of returning it to Amazon, of course u wouldn't have had the free shipping.

Update, the 4th one is built correct. Looks like it shipped direct from Jones. For anyone interested, I would order from Jones direct.

Thought Jones doesn't sell direct, at least that is what i was told. But you can ask the place u buy from special order it instead of sending u on hand stock.

I currently have the Magnaflow muffler, I can do a before sound clip and then an after sound clip when I get the Jones muffler installed. It might be a week or two though, my exhaust guy is also a baseball coach and heavily into the season traveling around the southeast right

So, is everyone leaning towards using the Magnaflow bullet style mufflers in conjunction with the Jones X-Pipe? I have the full 3” AWE cat back + their resonators + PLP’s already installed with the touring mufflers. With that system and the Stock headers/primary cats, it’s already very loud and sounds amazing. I’m contemplating adding 2” Kooks headers but would like to keep the volume about where I’m at. That said I’m curious to get thoughts. FWIW, I do have a set of Kooks “high flow” cats sitting in the box as well if they’d be worthwhile. But, maybe with this magna flow and/or Jones combination, perhaps no cats are the way to go? Or perhaps I could continue to use the AWE resonators?Thanks everyone… ��

No, the bullet style mufflers can be installed in the tunnel section, OR, the Jones muffler can be installed in te same location. One or the other. The Jones X-Pipe muffler is going to be quieter between the two options. Once you add headers you will likely want to use the Jones X muffler. Resonators and bottle style mufflers won't quiet it enough for most people.

As I mentioned earlier after installing the Magnaflow bullet style mufflers last week it was still on the loud side, but a little better. By adjusting the NPP valve tune i was able to get close to stock inside the cabin. When I want it loud again I just put it in track mode. My SW Legend series give a really nice deep tone.
