Hey JCunningham,

Shot in the dark. There is very little info on the V6 M6 side of the house. I'm in the process of swapping my clutch in the TR3160, but would appreciate if there is a section in the repair manual for dropping the trans. Do you have the manual, and if so, could you send me some snippets from pulling the M6 on the LGX?

Thanks!

I pulled mine out this time last year and it kind of sucked. I pulled all the cradle bolts except for the front 2, and lowered/tilted it as far as it would let me. The back of the whipple was against the firewall/cowl. The worst part was getting the trans out, had it all twisted/rotated around to get it to come out. It went back in a little easier, I think because the Mcleod clutch allowed more room than the stock clutch.

Here is my thread from the trans and clutch: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=583289

Helm Inc. sells our official shop manuals. Unfortunately the last model year I see at their site is 2018, not sure why the new architecture manuals aren't for sale yet.

Alldata has service information for the 2020 but still nothing for 2021-2022, and can't vouch for the quality either because I didn't actually subscribe, only checked availability.

Alternatively, you can get a $20 3-day subscription to GM's entire service manual catalogue.
This way if the procedure links to something you're confused about, you can actually read what the link says.

You must lower it more than 1 inch...5 inches is much closer to the truth.
