What is recurring squeak/chirp noise??

Every 12-15 seconds, I hear a low-volume discreet squeak or chirp sound coming from the dashboard. It very easy to hear when the radio is on mute, but it normally drowned out by radio and (run-flat) tire noise when on the road.
Does anyone know what is causing this??

Mine is currently in the workshop for that.
I figured out that the chirp occurs every time the AFM switches from V8 to V4 mode. Double check if that's the same for your car.

Mine was chirping every 12-15 seconds while I was parked, so it doesn't seem to be related to when my v6 switches to/from v4.
My oil monitor is at 5% and a message pops up at startup, could that be it? Nothing in the manual about it. I will be changing oil soon followed be a reset, hope the chirp goes away then.

Its not a fan type chirp, its the kind of squeak or chirp that reminds you of something like when your cell phone battery or camera battery is close to 0%. It is coming from under the dash, more to the passenger side (it is not a device or something in the glove compartment).
I'll be out of town til mid next week and then I'll change the oil, reset the oil change reminder and hope that is the cause, although I don't remember that noise the 2 last times I changed the oil.

This the mystery squeak coming from under the dashboard. It comes at the 7 second and 20 second mark, turn up your volume. It only does it while the engine is running. It was recorded with radio off and ac off. Can anyone identify it????

uhhhh. That's no squeak that's like some kind of chime like a cell phone. Bizarre I have no idea what that could be. How long has this been going on? After the 20 second one sounded like a plastic grind type sound. Was that you just grabbing the phone or like a blend door type sound concern?

That was me just stopping the recording after 20 second beep. The beep/squeak started maybe a few weeks ago when I first noticed it, which it hard with runflat tire noise and with radio on.
Hopefully someone in the general section can identify the squeak or I may have to resort to bringing the car to the dealership to solve the mystery.

I know I’ve heard that noise before but not from my car. For whatever it’s worth that same tone comes from my Sony Cybershot camera on power up.

I had my 14 year old daughter listen to both and she agrees.

I agree, it does sound like a digital camera. Thanks to your suggestion, I then checked my viofo dash cam and that was it. It was a format warning beep. Mystery solved.
