Car & Driver: New Camaro Z/28 is still on the way with 700+ HP NA V8
This all sounds pretty far-fetched, click-baity...

700 hp from a 5.5 liter V8 outperforms the 4.5 liter Ferrari V8, which is the highest specific output production V8. I'm not saying it's impossible but it's highly unlikely.

Although Automobile magazine states GM told them Z/28 name plate is for naturally aspirated engines only.... so who knows til it shows up.

The problem is the "Manana" thing. Ford has theirs out late last year in 2016. So Chevy won't be able to get there til 2019? so late 2017 for the 1le ZL1 or wait til mid 2019 for a brand new untested motor that will be great......but? I am not buying green bananas any more so I am supposed to wait for 3 years? I think the ZL1 will be the answer and it may be the straight up one as I really think the 10 speed is gonna be the Cat's Meow.

Why not enjoy the Z06 until the next Z/28 arrives - then it until the next Z06 arrives - seems like the perfect 2-3 year cycle! |

Renewed Z/28 Rumors - 700HP NA
Interesting...
Could be why there has been zero LT5 discussion. Referenced within is a 700HP naturally aspirated LT6. http://www.leftlanenews.com/next-cam...wer-94798.html |

Garbage article.
More click bait for advertising revenue. Phrases like "Sources tell us", "Rumored to have achieved" and all the other meaningless dribble. They all just take the same info/rumor and write crap about it. Then the next guy takes the same garbage makes it seem like they are sources and creates more lies. These people should be banned.

There's typically at least 20% truth amongst 80% of rumor/garbage. I agree it's hard to discern what that may be. Note "rumor" in the topic.

Doubt it, they couldn't make the power they wanted for the Z06 N/A and pass emissions. So they used the 650HP supercharged LT4. Why would they now be able to make even more power out of an N/A engine?
