Just thankful for this site

Just want to shout out the members of this site and thank you all for helping me make the right decision on my purchase. I was going to settle for a 1SS but actually pulled the trigger on a 2SS 1LE.

After looking for about 6 months I signed up on this site and just started reading different threads on the cars. Looking at posts on the different models and the plus/minus of each it really helped me make up my mind on what I wanted. Once I got enough detail (about 3 months of learning) I went all in.

Recently passing my 1500 mile break in period I must say its everything I wanted and much more. The extra options in the 2SS are good bonus and make the entire driving experience even better. Just about every time I drive it I learn something new. Its a blast to drive and look at. Now I have to be honest I don't turn heads as much as my 81 z28 did but its for sure an eye catcher. Especially when parked among the mopar crews that are everywhere these days (they love the offset and complain about dodge not doing it on their cars).

Needless to say I'm ecstatic about the car and wouldn't change a thing in the world for it. The wife is a lil envious but he she told me to hurry up and get one so I would shut up about it. Safe driving everyone and enjoy the roads because I know I will.

Yep, best choice possible just short of a ZL1. But who wants to spend 20k more. That is simply perfect.

Congratulations! Do you have the ACS rock guards and side rockers on your car? I just installed mine last weekend after picking up my car from the dealer on Saturday.

My wife was the same way when I was looking to upgrade from my 1SS to my 2SS, telling me to get the car already so I can shut up about it. LOL. Congrats!

Yes I put all that on the first week i had it. Adds a nice flare to it.

I actually got the car from Lindsay Chevy in Woodbridge. At the time it was the only dealer that had what I wanted on a decent radius from Raleigh.

I thought that was the case looking at your picture. I agree with you. I really like the way the rock guards and side skirts look on the 1LE.

Where are you located in NC. I'm near Greenville.
