AA side skirts stress cracking
Hey guys, so I've had the American Authority gloss black side skirts for 4 months touching on 5.
I was cleaning the inside of my car and I saw this There's not other damage, the fissure looks like it was stretched appart or something. I used quick weld to secure it for now I emailed @americanauthority but haven't heard anything back. I also reached out to them on IG. I've had issues with all their products like the grille and louvers, I thought this was the one thing that was perfect but it sucks that it appears to be shrinking or something. Hopefully I get a replacement, I don't want to take them off and have to lift it, clean the tape residue (a real process) and unscrew them off for nothing. As for now, i hope I get a response, hopefully they continue to stand by their products. |

I have the same side skirts. They’ve only been on the car for a month. No issues yet.
Keep us posted. |

theres never gonna be some end all be all, super part or company that never has flaws... for the 6th gen, I have the AA unpainted side rockers installed... installed them in 18 degree weather this past winter, and not a single problem with OVER 20K on em.

No response yet, it's been a week.
Not even a denied claim by @americanauthority I would hope they'd respond, just be careful with these guys, they're Chinese resellers from Alibaba. Buy their stuff knowing it's as is and sometimes unfinished just like their grille and louvers with rough edges. |

At least the skirts didn't come like that when you ordered it.....took me two weeks to get a replacement splitter that was messed up.

Speaking of their front splitter:
Mine kinda just started to warp at certain spots the most severe being this one. No damage as you can see. I bought the GM one and also have a zl1 style too. This splitter is too thin to be a splitter anyway. |

**Update **
They have responded and are replacing them! I guess a few of them have this issue where a batch came out too short, and they're been fixed. |
