How dirty is your back window

Mine = pretty bad

I have a convertible so the top is down and in mirror mode or when the top is up I am in camera mode.

I forgot to switch to camera mode this morning and dang that window is dirty.

I've cleaned the back window...once in the almost 5 years. Using the Stoner window cleaning tool makes it easy. I'm just that lazy.

Wow things must be pretty boring these days to start a thread on the back window cleanliness. Oh well it is cold as hell outside in the midwest so why not.

You must have better luck that me with that thing. For me, it’s too thick to clean the lower center of the window without scratching the plastic speaker covers.

Clean. Every time I wash my car I wipe the rear window with a damp microfiber cloth.

Can't tell, two car seats in the way. I do use one of those extendo-wands to clean the front glass.

Clean. I keep on top of glass using a quality glass cleaner and 2 microfiber towels during the process. No streaks, lint, or dust.

Glass is done with every wash, which is about every 2 weeks.

would be easier if they replaced the surface level defroster grid traces with something that would result in a smooth surface.

It's bad enough that you have to use a tool to reach the bottom of the glass (and most of those will rub all up on the hard plastic speaker grilles)... but those defroster grids are extremely annoying while using those tools.

It's too bad they're not optional.
