Track alignment, swapped from Powerstop Z26 pads back to stock pads, and installed brake deflector kit in preparation for Thunderhill on Friday.

I'm not sure many do the deflector kit on the V6 1LEs but after hearing about the front brake heat these heavy cars generate it cannot hurt. I think the ABS sensors on the LT cars might be routed differently as the wire contacts the deflector at full lock in either direction so I did some minor trimming (about a dime sized piece of plastic removed) and will swap back the stock deflectors for daily driving since it is an easy swap. Torque spec on the deflector is 29in-lbs or 40in-lbs on a new control arm, but since the screws go right into the soft aluminum one screw felt like it was stripping before even reaching 29in-lbs so I will go with 20in-lbs going forward.

Getting 148ft-lbs on the caliper bolts required some elbow grease, I should have jacked up my car higher to make it easier. Also turning the steering wheel to the side helps get leverage.

I debadged my Summit White 2020 ZL1 of all emblems except for the 'flowtie' and 'ZL1' on the front grill. Makes washing and polishing much easier.

I drove mine on an uneven dirt road. Very slowly. Won't be doing that again (I didn't want to do it in the first place)

Realized a Camaro doesn't make a good DD for me at the moment and picked up a beater pickup. lol.

Dealer Punch list

Dealer Installed suede shift knob and boot, however they didn’t get the etched metal topper installed, it didn’t come in. The car was shipped with a standard leather knob and boot, not the 1LE suede. They took care of some small touch up areas, including some scratches on splitter. The best part was I was eating complimentary breakfast at Hubler Chevy. (biscuits and gravy, bacon, tater tots, from a In house cafe with an actual cook and kitchen.)
