Which car wax/polish does everyone use?

Ive been using Collinite liquid for quite a few years and really like but I just got a new 1LE and I plan on clay barring it this weekend and waxing it and was maybe thinking of trying something different and something that wont stain black trim.

I dont want to break the bank but want to use something good. Ive tried Adam's and dont like it.

I do all of my work by hand (old school) so if I tryi another brand I will also do it by hand.

Any suggestions?

Used Zaino for 10 years. Switched to Adams about 10 years ago.

Have Adams Ceramic on the wife's Honda and H20 Guard & Gloss/Glaze on my 1LE.

Poor Boy's World Natty's Black Paste Wax is colored black and won't stain black trim.

https://www.detailedimage.com/Ask-a-...ack-paste-wax/

Can't go wrong with Collinite 915 Marque D'Elegance.

I also like Chemical Guy's Pete's 53.

Unless you are going to polish the car, just skip the clay bar until you are ready to polish. Clay bars are abrasive and cause marring that should be removed with a polisher before adding your last step protection (LSP.)

I use Jescar powerlock sealant and use P&S beadmaker as a drying aid after washes. You said you didn't like Adams but didn't say which product you didn't like. I'm a fan of the Adams Americana wax, it just doesn't have much durability.

If you have some minor swirls and scratches, try CarPro Essence Plus. It fills really well and can be applied by hand, dries to haze like a wax and buffed off with a MF towel. Lasts longer than traditional wax and has excellent gloss. It’s my go to polish in between my yearly correction polish.

If you don't need to polish first or aren't sure, then just try CarPro Reload. If you do, then do what Glen says (Essence).

On a side note, I got some CarPro water spot remover over the holiday. Worked well on my coated car (it's a citric acid blend, coating safe).

Have gone away from the ceramic coating and now back the waxes and detail spray. Collinite 845 and P&S Beadmaker.

How is the BeadMaker working for you? Any comment on longevity? I am about out of Reload and looking at trying it.

Can't comment on longevity since I have only had it for a month or so and the car has sat in the garage for almost all that time. Funny enough, I was about out of Reload too when I made the switch. But from initial application on a corrected car, with a fresh coat of 845, I thought it was very smooth before the Beadmaker, after the application of Beadmaker made it super slick to the touch. That in itself was super impressive to me.
