I have all the parts to finish, just haven’t had the time. Me and my step son picked this(the dyno) up awhile back and we are actually seeing a little business lately.

That depends. Do you have a pile of money to throw in on stupid things like dynos?

It loves the cam and extra rpms. We took it to 17psi and broke 900hp. Seemed like a good place to stop for now.

The stock 5.3 heads seem to be doing fine but are a question mark in my head after dropping a valve on my 6.2. I really think it was a valve control issue but they maybe just suck. Better parts can’t be a bad thing.

I am struggling with how much timing to give it. Here is a chart with the only difference an extra 2deg if timing from 6000rpm up. Went from 16 to 18deg.
I want to stay conservative on timing and make the power with boost but that kind of increase with 2 deg would seem to indicate the motor really wanted it.

My personal opinion and talking with Mike Sitar (toohighpsi) its better to run more timing and less boost with good fuel in most cases. I'm sure some will feel different about that but my 2 cents may or may not be worth that much.
