Well, this is my early opinion, but I'm not that excited now that I've seen the photos. It looks similar to the 5th Gen, but with a more modern look. I guess Chevy has to get away from the retro look at some point.

I like the car because it's a Camaro, and I wish GM the best of luck. I won't be trading in my 2014 SS though. I think the 5th Gen is a better looking car. But then again, I think the 1969 Camaro is the best looking car Chevy ever made. Hopefully, all the 20-40 year olds love the 6th Gen.

I remember GM actually had to release this:

...because everyone was complaining it looked too much like the old model.

Now, it's widely regarded as one of the best looking trucks on the market.

Holding my opinion until tomorrow, but from what I see today, glad I don't feel the need to buy a Camaro anytime soon.

Agree. I gotta say I prefer the mustang. The engine may suck by comparison but mustang has the more appealing design to my eyes

I hope you're right... but those look like actual photos of the real car.

The Mustang and Camaro both shapeshift over time. The Mustang started out boxy. Then it got kind of rounded. Then things got really weird (we won't talk about the Mustang II). Then it went boxy. Then it went all curves. Then it went boxy again. And the latest generation is more curves.

Same with the Camaro. Boxy then swoops. Boxy then swoops. Boxy then... Hello more curvature in the 6th Gen.

I remember saying the 4th gen was butt ugly....but it grew on you. If this is legit...then it will look better the more you see it. I will say, the 5th gen was an instant hit.
I think it will be a good looking car that will perform flawlessly....a lot of the 5th gen gripes will surley be addressed. Cant wait to get behind the wheel of one.

Alright! Keeping mine.

Just looks like another "refresh" to me rather than an entirely new gen.

I remember when the 5th gen came out. Like any retro ressurection, there was a quite a large group of people that hated it and swore they'd never own another Camaro, ever again.

This was back in the days of Camaroz28.com.

Anybody who is disappointed so far and is going to Belle Isle tomorrow, I will gladly take your spot

Relax. Cars look better in person, pictures, especially ones that have been copied (loss of definition), do not tell the entire styling story.

Any manufacturer cannot please everyone. Styling is 90% subjective, 10% objective. Some design can be downright wrong (think upcoming Nissan Titan).

I am not taking much stock in these photos. Yes, I believe they are legit but ultimately the options are what made the 5th gens look so good. Compare a non-RS V6 base model to a 1LE. They are wildly different and not even in the same league. IMO the lowest base model Camaro isn't very exciting, but a fully decked-out ZL1 with black 10-spokes and the carbon fiber insert is one of the hottest cars ever made IMO. Throw a nice stripe kit and a set of gloss black 10 spokes and the car will totally come alive. I want to see REAL, high-res, detailed photos of the car with all the different options and trim levels before I make a judgment.

I want to see this vehicle maxed out on the options sheet in black paint with some black ZL1 10-spokes or gloss black Forgestars. I bet it'll look great, and when you factor in an extra 25-30 horsepower, a 7-speed manual transmission and a 200 lb weight reduction I bet the thing will be a smash hit.

RS models do not do the 10-15's justice. The higher trim models with big meats will tell the story...
