Rock Guards?

I have a 2019 ZL1, and after only owning it for a few weeks, rock guards are needed. Every drop of water covers the car after washing it.

The ones I have looked at are ACS. https://acscomposite.com/collections...ck-chip-guards

I don't want anything that will just look like a mudflap, any help would be appreciated.

I love my ACS rock guards. The could have designed them a little wider IMO, but they are the best look / fit you can get.

Thanks for your help. Did you go with gloss black? I want to get front and rear, the part that is confusing is do I have to add the GM OEM piece as well?

You do not need anything other than the ACS pieces. And yes I went with gloss black

The ACS guards are a bit expensive but they look sweet. Minimal but they get the job done. You should enjoy them! I too went with gloss black.

Very!!!!
I have the same car as yourself. I ordered a spare set of rims and rubber when the car arrived at the dealer. So after the PPF was installed I drove around without my rock guards while I waited for my rims to arrive.
I should have installed the rock guards on day 1. Now I can see very faint white marks in the PPF in the fenders in front of the rear wheels. Obviously this was stuff kicked back from the wide front tires.
After I installed the rock guards I haven’t seen an increase in the white marks.
The marks are difficult to see but I know they are there and I kick myself now.
And the rock guards were soooo easy to install. That’s what bugs me.

But yes they are effective especially on the ZLE with the wider front tires.

$398 per set is stupid expensive for 4 little pieces of plastic IMHO

Without doubt it’s expensive but I will say this. Where I live there really isn’t ZLEs around. So when people are asking about the car I often get complimented on the work I did to it. I tell them, “really nothing, I did the rims and rubber and the rock guards, ppf and tint”
Rock guards, what are those? Those mud flap kinda things.
No word of a lie people don’t realize I put them on. They really don’t look out of place in any way. I do think the matte black and the smaller size as well as an excellent fit and finished product do help this.
But yes they are expensive and not everybody feels the need to spend that kind of dough on something that protects paint. Especially ones that are smaller in size than the competition.
But, they are effective in protection. At least in my experience with them.
