Keep in mind, features on the race car are probably going to be exaggerated like the C7.R vs C7. The wide body kit and race equipment makes things look bulgier.

You asked who the competition for the car is going to be. Unless the car comes out as a Cadillac, its going to be competing against the GT. Its a mid-engined car made by the closest, most direct rival to Chevrolet. There really aren't any other options.

I think the Ford GT will be the first comparison. It would be hard not to compare them. Then, the usual 911 comparisons and maybe even Ferarri and McLaren.

Who cares who the so called "competition" is.
It's going to punch higher than its price tag just like all GM high performance cars do. In no way do I believe this car will be made to go up directly against the GT, but we all know it will probably perform as well as that car. It will never be nearly as valuable. That said, I think Porsche will be compared to the most

Looks pretty cool, BUT I want to remind everyone about GM's debacle with the Fiero. I had an 87 GT and it was a great car, but my sister had an 84 that was riddled with problems. GM took their sweet time getting the issues worked out with them and my sister had to threaten GM with a law suit in order to get a new engine when it blew up. Even after they put the Iron Duke in it, it still never ran right. GM is notorious for putting something out in the market place without testing it.
