Unhappy 6gen Wheels and Offset

Hello everyone my name is Jenn. Whats the highest offset we can do on front wheels for a Camaro 2017 SS. I recently purchased ZL1 replicas but I failed to realize that the offset for the front wheels are 35. Do yall think spacers would help out? Any advice would help

+ or - 35 offset? What's the factory offset?

If you've already mounted the tires and purchased the wheels see if they will fit without rubbing. If not your good to go! If they stick out past the fenders I would buy some mud guards to reduce damage to your doors and rear quarter panel. Are you still running factory sized tires?

If you haven't mounted tires yet just take a wheel off and see if the rim will mount without hitting the brake calipers. Saves you money on mounting and you can try to return your wheels or you could buy spacers. I'm not a fan of spacers but to each their own.

+35, they clear the calipers. The issue is the wheel is to close to the spring. Yes im still using factory tires.

I would see if you can return them. You'll probably eat shipping costs. If you can't return them get the smallest spacer you need to get the clearance you need. Spacers put additional stress on the axle. Think of a lever. The longer the lever the more torque you can apply to something. So, the further out the hub of the wheel the more stress you put on your suspension components.

I just put 20x10s on a +23 offset. They are so close to perfect most people wouldnt even notice. Just giving you a point of reference

The factory wheel specs for both SS 1LE and regular ZL1 are 20x10 +20 front and 20x11 +43 rear. If you have 20x10 +35 wheels then you could install a spacer but it's a bit expensive to buy a quality spacer that thick. You might be better off contacting the wheel company to see what your options are to exchange the wheels if they have a different size.
