I did that and he's CNC porting the inlet and the snout. The bad news is, it's running late.

I turning mine at 23.300 but have not seen any slippage

I had to go back to Matt's to knock some hesitation out of the port coming on. Randomly it would stumble and hesitate didn't happen to much but pretty annoying if your racing someone on the hwy. Anyhow he tuned it 1st on ipw based operation Off of tps. Now there's another harness w an additional map I'm using a lot more functionality of the Haltech aswell.

He sent some info about maf temps

Since we are sharing what we feel is valuable data, here is some real world data from the track from 2-6th gear (0 - 169 MPH) in 3300 DA on the quickest and fastest PD blown 6th gen there is. We didn't ice this one but the car did sit for 30-40 min after the previous pass. The image is with the slider at 0 MPH and peak MPH (speedo is off). I'd show you the 173 MPH pass, but it only dropped 3-4 degrees.

Ok, here is the record pass. It was only 1038 DA here. We didn't ice because it was supposed to just be a shakedown pass before putting the aggressive pulley's on, but obviously the water was still cool from being in the trailer. It did idle for about 15 min to get to an operating temp.

Jackie Metcalf I’m sorry you bought the wrong supercharger. The magnuson 2650 is far superior than your junk edelbrock . The MAT Do go down on the dyno or even while doing a pull on the street. The magnuson 2650 is the Daddy King Kong of the 2650 blowers *♂️.To get your Edelbrock close to the Maggy 2650 you have to get a max effort port and still not close to a stock non ported Maggy . I’m sorry but might want to re think that you bought the wrong blower and are in denial.

Maybe the Edelbrock version of the X3100 will be better, but people need to have something more than single gear dyno pulls and street MAT temps, because I'll be giving the Maggie one hell deep in the 7's with stacks of data to backup record passes.

Yeah the MATs that EDF is seeing are marginally better than my Whipple 2.9 that is overspun past Whipple’s guidelines (not great lol). For a 2650 the Eddy is really underwhelming and keep in mind that’s ported by Kong too… The Maggie 2650 is miles ahead and it’s not close. Be interested to see how the Whipple 3.0 stacks up. Probably be close to the 2650 but doubt it’ll be better.

I seen that too...lol

It's pretty much a given at this point that the Maggie 2650 is the top dawg PD supercharger on the LT platform. I have had a hand in tuning a max effort 2650 car vs a max effort Kong ported Eddie setup, and I can clearly see the Maggie is ahead. Nothing wrong with the Edelbrock at all but it's not quite as capable. With both turning 19k + rpm the Eddie hits harder and tapers off up top. You can see the grams per cylinder taper off like a LT4 blower that is being over spun. The 2650 will still hit peak gms/cyl up higher in the RPM range and hold it. I don't even care about temp comparisons if both are on E85.

Aside from that we can skip all the technical jargin and look right at the easy to comprehend facts. Currently all the fastest/quickest PD cars run a Mag. Hell I don't even think a Kong Eddie has surpassed a X port LT4 yet has it? Then you have my junk Whipple bringing up the rear. See how unbiased I am?

I am completely satisfied in every way with how my Edelbrock has performed as well as how cool it runs but I would highly recommend avoiding one like it’s the plague. I deeply regret buying one two months before the Magnusson came out. I may swap it out someday even though I expect no change aside it from being more acceptable
