The emblem is cheap plastic and has pins glued in. I see a backing plate and a spacer behind the leather. The plastic pins broke at the emblem. Looks like you can't order a direct replacement. Maybe the dealership? I will probably wind up using 5 minute epoxy and small screws to fasten to the original backing plate. I would like it to match the indentation in the seat and the other seat. |

It does seem the emblem is integrated with the seat cover and you won't find a separate part number online. The diagram below is for the ZL1, but the SS is very likely the same. Maybe the dealership has a more detailed parts catalog, it did happen with me in a few cases, hope they will hook you up

I just want to update this topic. I’m going through this hassle as well. The dealer confirmed with me that the badge is not sold separately. You have to buy the whole seat cover for a whopping $600 … outrageous cash grab on GM’s part. They knew those cheap emblems would break eventually… I guess the bright side is you’ll always have new seat covers…
I’m heavily thinking of just going with custom seat covers and having the emblem embroidered instead… If I did try to epoxy it back on there, what epoxy would have the best chance of standing up to wild temperatures in Texas? It gets as hot as 115*F and as cold as … well … 0*F… |
