I will say the quickjack was one of the best purchases I ever made. It is important to check for any leaks / loose fittings and ensure the PSI is correct in the air cylinders. There is a maintenance / check before each use schedule in the manual. Always lift on level ground and with the two pieces as parallel as possible.

Setting up mine today. How are you supporting your ZL1 1LE? Is that with the standard blocks and the ZL1 add-ons or with the QJ pinch weld blocks?

It is VERY important you have everything centered and use only one block per lift point (if you use 2, they may slip)... If everything is centered and such it will be very stable, if you are sloppy setting it up it could end badly... Don't get complacent...

Here is a strange question for quick jack owners: Have you ever jacked up the car in the garage (in case of a possible flood from a hurricane?) Moving to FL and have never had to experience this, so just looking for alternatives to save the car if it does flood and not too deep.
But now I am thinking a 4 post lift may be better suited all around? Advantage Lifts?

I would suggest lifting it on to jacks, and keeping the Quickjack Dry and functional.

4 post wins every day.

BE CAREFUL WITH SOME OF THE ADD ON BLOCKS. ONLY USE THE ONES WITH THE SET SCREWS. BE SURE THEY ARE TIGHT. IT CAN ROLL OFF THOSE

Yes, I was very paranoid of that happening so I built some attachments to fit the quick jack blocks that slot into the pinch weld did this before I bought some of the clamp on lift pads
