No kidding! The chase was over before it got started. Just plain dumb to continue it.

Maybe the cop was bored and wanted an excuse to go on a high speed run.

Watching the video can't see any reason for the Camaro to be pulled over. Looks like the cop decided to target him and pull him over no matter what. Could have been you or me, or anybody.

Agree here, don’t see why the Camaro was being pulled over or why the cop was still chasing him after 30 seconds, that dude was gone !

One of the most irresponsible police chases I’ve seen. If I was his supervisor, we’d be having a seriously talk.

This is a reoccurring thing for ASP.

Could have been a stolen car, stolen license plate, or wanted for something else other than a traffic violation.

Those are the reasons we should reserve judgment on the situation until all of the facts are known which probably will never be released.

Cause police are so innocent and always do the right thing, right? Owner of the car knew he could easily outrun the cop, officer just wanted to fill his quota and enjoy a little power trip by ****ing over someone doing absolutely nothing wrong.

TBH I don't think it would have mattered. I don't think they can press charges unless the officer can beyond reasonable doubt identify the driver. This is why you can record road rage with a dash cam but the offender gets away scotch free if he causes someone to have an accident even if you get his tags.

I also don't think the Camaro and Corvette were doing pulls either. The Cop would have approached them in the right lane instead of being in the far left.

As the video starts it really seemed to me the cop was in the L lane and shielding himself alongside the tractor trailer anticipating the Camaro was going to make a pull, or had made a pull earlier.
