Range device and performance shift mode
Recently installed the range device, and have noticed that the car will not go into performance shift mode nearly as easy as it did before. Basically have to be at complete wide open throttle for it to activate, whereas before it would activate much more easily, like 3/4 throttle or whatever. I don't really mind the difference, but was just curious if others had experienced this. Also noticed a very slight delay in throttle response but just sometimes. It's barley noticeable, but it does exist. Anyone experience these things?

Thanks for the replies. Interesting that no one else has experienced this. Don't get me wrong the range works as advertised, and the performance shift mode still works fine, but just responds differently than before. I'm just more curious as to how this happened. I'll try calling Range Technology and see what they think

I got a range device and tried it for a month or so. Honestly I thought the car drove better and was quicker w/o the device plugged in. Not sure what I was expecting, but could hardly notice it was doing anything.
