It really sux....considering we were cooped up in the house and a lot of things can be tied to it, like anything that the connects to wifi.

TRUE....last night the wife and I just finished watching all 12 seasons of NYPD Blue. was a great show. now to find something new to start.

False. Had a blast doing Auto X with the Z yesterday, today I need to park the trailer, put away the supporting crap, tidy up the truck and get in a bike work-out. Also need to keep an eye on the Daytona 500.

TPBM is going to watch the Daytona 500 specifically to see the C8 Vette pace car.

FALSE....I was sitting in the dark when it was on....but after seeing the huge pile up at the beginning that took out all the real favorites, to me it wouldn't have been much of a race to watch....especially seeing as how it ended under the yellow.

UPDATE ABOUT ME: well all....well I didn't drop off the face of the earth, but as so many otheres here in Texas have been dealing with no power. for us it want out Sunday night and didn't come back on till yesterday afternoon, the entire time I haven't had internet and even now it comes and goes, I am hopeing it stays on long enough to finish this post to update y'all. even our cell serive was out for awhile as a few towers went down in our area. I had moved over to me daughters house as they never lost power, but they did'nt have the internet either. I'm back at home, with power and heat....but still don
t have water....thats been out for a few days, but out area is supposed to get that all back sometime this morning. anyway....hope everyone is safe and sound.

TPBM is doing the best they can to keep warm.

True. Staying in and staying warm. I'm sorry to hear you were/are impacted so badly by this weather. I have a friend in Dallas who his wife is 8 months pregnant and their power went out too. They went to stay at a friend's house who had a gas fireplace, but even by morning it was only 35 degrees in the room. Best of luck getting back to normal and hoping that the lack of water isn't a boat load of busted pipes.

TPBM knows someone, other than Sir Nuke, who has experienced power outage from this abnormal winter snap heading so far south.

True. Several people in the Houston area and my oldest. He and his girlfriend came to our house to shower and get a warm meal yesterday.

TPBM is tired of being cooped up

FALSE......although everyone that wasn't actually running or maintaining the power plant I work at was given the day off on monday when this storm blew in...I took the other 3 days off, just because I could to deal with anything that may come up....and not leave my wife alone to deal with it.

TPBM, their weather is starting to warm up a bit....at least they are above freezing where they NORMALLY are!
