GM ZL1 Car Cover

Has anyone purchased one of the GM outdoor covers? I'm trying to decide on the white or the Grey. If you have any pictures of it on your car, can you please post some pictures? I'd like to see how they look in real life pictures.

Old thread, but still deserves an answer. My protection package (option) included this outdoor cover:

Way too expensive, IMO.

I also have the GM car cover. I think it looks lame, but it is a good quality cover. I use it all the time. Probably too expensive but whatever.

Ok here you go... Ive had mine for 2 1/2 years. The elastic at the bottom is a little worn out. I really need a new one. It has worked very well and since most of the cars life it didnt have a car port or garage....it has been a life saver! It has never blown off. Even in one major hurricane and several terrible storms. It has the ability to strap underneath. I will say this...it is imperative that your car is clean when you put it on...or the cover will rub the corners of the car snd potentiality scratch the paint. Mine is wrapped so im not as concerned with the rubbing. Also it does need to breathe...in heavy rain the car will get wet underneath it. Overall it has been a Godsend for me and i will pick up another of the same kind shortly. I hope this was helpful.

What is the part number on this cover? Does anyone else have an aftermarket cover (ie Cover King, etc)?

If you just search on Chevy Mall you can find a bunch of options

Used mine for the first time last night, because the car was left out. Still has factory creases.

I just winterized my car for the winter, it is sitting in my unheated garage, with no cover on for the last 3 weeks while it is marketed as an outdoor cover, it just means that the fabric is heavier than a pure indoor cover right?

It will still be perfect to put on my car in my garage?

Temps will go down bellow -40 during my winter, I will make sure that my GYF1SC3 tires wont be disturbed.... :P

The car still looks showroom clear ( ceramic coat helps) but I will still dust it good with a bit of quick details just before puttin a cover on....

I am thinking of buying that cover too.

They are all white right?

This one...the ZL1 one...is light grey with black plastic decal like material onto in places...like the hood insert and exhaust.

My used 2017 came with a car cover that I have never had out of the bag. It was one of the factory options for $395.00 that was ordered with the car! Don’t know if the previous owner used it or not.
