Just saying besides known "issues" you'd better have a tire budget. Track or not and you'll need at least an A/S to get you through winter. You didn't say your intended use like track, or DD, etc etc

100 HP more really? Just curious what makes the 650 HP LT4 feel slow? Unless maybe because you got used to the power eventually and would want more. |

I didn’t post that but I agree with him. My LT4 feels slow because my last weekend car had 100 more hp. I’d like to have 100 more (OEM and warrantied) in the ZL1.
My only other complaint is that the paint is way to thin. Rock chips are a given unless it get PPF immediately. |

Like I said it needs at least 100 more HP to be competitive with the other brands, if not it will be gone. Look at the Dodge boys 2021 they will kill Camaro in all aspects. GM has got to get it together and quit thinking just about the C8 vette. Tires are good for straight line racing but for weather they just suck.

No grab handle for the passenger is one complaint I have. The ladies usually claw at the headliner. Why? I really don’t know to be honest. But I think they should have put a grab handle in.
Back tires but I bought Michelin’s right away knowing the 3Rs would be toast almost immediately . These are incredible cars for the money in my opinion. |

Word is Camaro will be phased out 2023 or possibly go hybrid. It's not selling very well because most middle aged American men are fat and don't fit so they go buy a Hellcat - they can have it |

The only issue is with the A10 you will be faster than some of the granny shifting M6 guys on this very message board.

If you want to order a 2021 ZL1 then by all means do it or if you can find a good deal on a 2020 then go for it! I really don’t think you will have any regrets except that you will be buying tires more frequently than before. You will find like the rest of us have that the ZL1 is a good bang for the buck sportscar!

Dissapointing that a $70+ sports car does not have adjustable pedals - cost and weight savings I guess.

Nope. But It does the 1/4 in high 10s stock while seat massages are on.

The extra 100hp would be nice but isn't needed. As others have said this is a sports car meant for the track. It just happens to do well in a straight line too. Hellcats can't pass it until ~140. Only good for open highway races or half mile events. They will never pass it on the track. The ZL1 feels insanely sporty even in it's most comfortable settings. It is a true sportscar and is only bested (barely) by the GT500 and Z06 for cars under 6 figures.
Almost any vehicle with turbos pushing 600hp with AWD will beat the ZL1 from a dig. It's cool, but not super impressive at anything but a stoplight. |

I ran a newer M5 a couple of weeks ago, basically dead even, I pulled slightly
However they (BMW and AMG) are running 25+ psi to attain those power levels and no one cares about resulting oil dilution and loss of compression..................except for the poor sap who buys it used. Intakes covered in oil are the norm. Not sure where you can install a catch can. The trend of pushing boost levels ever higher on smaller displacement engines to meet fuel economy/emission standards will be very interesting to watch. I don't see these motors holding good compression past 70-80k miles but time will tell Remember when 8 psi was the norm? |
