If they actually beat the GTR Nismo with a ZL1 whats left for the z/28? I'd like to see it too but I'm guessing they skinned the z/28 by a second or two. Which is pretty amazing.

Then again they did some redesigns on the ring for safety. So they new times may or may not be comparable to the old ones.

They did bring along a 5th Gen Z/28 so they probably set a new benchmark with it as well.

Not the Nismo, just a GT-R at 7:19, the Nismo is 7:08.

Also Al 0 saying "By far the best high performance team in the business..."

Can't be saying stuff like that and coming back with "we beat our old time by a couple seconds..."

No, it has to be, we f ing beat it bad. I'm only thinking this cuz, I mean we all know it's going to beat the old ZL1, and safe to say the old Z/28 (that was only 4 seconds faster and that was with the ZL1 in the rain), but if they beat it by a second...ehh...ok, we expect that.

I say top 20 at the ring.

I don't know if you meant to say "Z/28 in the rain"...ZL1 did a dry lap.

so presumably the Z/28 should have been a few seconds faster.

I'm still going with new ZL1 in top 20...

won't be surprised if that's not the case but what hell, aim high.

Another thought just crossed my mind...if they are at the ring setting times that they will presumably publish....are they done fine tuning and getting everything set that will be production?

Everyone is speculating so I'll throw a number outside there. 7:25:16. That coincidentally may be when ordering begins too so if I don't get one right I still have a chance. No matter what the time is the wait is excruciating. My iPad is plugged in constantly and I'm probably getting fired for not paying attention at work. I'll have the coolest car at the unemployment line.
