I had mine installed, didn't do it myself as last time I tried to do LED DRLs on my car and the first time doing electrical work, I burnt myself and have a mark for life on my left hand now LOL. It's installed on the BCM accesories port which is under somewhere the driver side. Then the wire was carried from the bottom to the A pillar and then straight across behind the roof liner.

Yeah, what usmcfiredog said. Blue or red is just the color of the mute screen. I went with red as my interior is adrenalin red + max360 you can change the screen between 4 colors of your choosing and made mine red. With the accent lighting, everything came together.

A MASSIVE suggestion that I will make is when/if you get the mute hardwire, black sharpie the green light that is always on the mute button (thank you Kracka for the suggestion!). Because it's way too damn bright, but if you just use a black permanent marker Sharpie, you will STILL see the green light but it won't be like a freaking stadium flood light in your face.

I just installed the mirror tap and it threw me for a loop because the wires that I used are only on when the car is running and not with accessory power. So checking to make sure I installed correctly was painful until I figured it out.

TR6, I also have the Max 360. Which blendmount bracket did you get? And just the basic smartcord direct kit?

The blend mount for the camaro is the same as the c7 vet and the 15inch wire. On blend mounts website it tells you which to get for the camaro

Their website does not list anything for the Camaro. The one for the C7 Vette is correct though. I spoke directly with Blendmount, and once I send them pictures to verify correct installation, they will be updating their website and Amazon listings.

Too bad the Escort live app doesn't switch to Bluetooth for voice alerts! For example if listening to XM/FM you won't hear alerts through car speakers unless you are in Bluetooth mode already. WAZE switches to BT, then back to XM.

it doesn't work correctly because the app needs an update after the latest iphone update. It's annoying that they take so long to make updates. I pay 650 for a product that doesn't function fully. I can't have the radio up or I'll miss alerts now...

Hoping for an update... Also want to edit my post above.. WAZE sometimes doesn't switch back to XM, it'll force me to have to switch back to XM.. What I mean is that WAZE will alert me (by switching to BT), then the car audio stays in BT/iPod mode.

So I'm dealing with both of these issues from WAZE & ET.

Doug, could you confirm what iPhone & iOS version you are running?
