I keep reading the NCAA Football news on ESPN and Yahoo sports because basically, I'm a college football nut. Anyway, this time of year, if it's news, it seems to be bad news. I don't know how many more bad things can happen between now and the first kickoff in August?! It's pretty sad actually!

Because the one and most powerful team of the north left and we are lop sided ? Even though we are not divided into North or south anymore the old Big12 south is still attached and I dont recall any of the south teams ever having a issue with any of the teams that left.

The big12 was the South part of the confrence.

I'm glad nebraska and the others left only because you can have that chanpionship Game.
Its only good for money and injuries.

Having tressel gone just helped everyone in the big10 tremendously for the time being. Michigan may actually beat OSU and other Teams may get another chance to get another Win.
I dont see Nebraska doing that much better since they went to the Big10 and if they do that will say enough for the Big10.

As bad as I hate to say it and the taste it leaves in my mouth If health stays clean I say BlowU wins. Especially with OSU just losing there general.

I would think at this point that Nebraske leaving hurt the Big 12 more than it helped Nebraska . Until TAM, TT ,UC,and the Kstate step up it will be a big 3 with OU , UT and OSU for now .

That said I think Nebraska will do well in the Big 10 at first , once Michigan gets going and if Penn St can stay near the top it will all change .

BTW , I am a Bama fan so this just my humble opinion I am not a Big 10 homer .

I agree . Michigan still playing with R&R players and it will take 3 more years. And the big 12 also lost Colorado.

It's going to be interesting because there is no dominant team in the Big Ten. I am nowhere near an OSU fan but they were good for the conference. Losing sweater vest boy is definitely going to hurt them and their recruiting. UM has been on a recruiting tear and hopefully they can continue that by capitalizing on the OSU situation.
