I have an EL-50588 identical to this-

It has worked perfectly on every vehicle (two Chevys and a Ford) that I have used it on so far including my '17 1LT.
I hold its tip touching the tire (not the rim) near the valve stem and hold the button until it registers.
Sometimes that takes a couple of seconds, but it does eventually work.

I bought this one too. Over the weekend, it worked with no problems on my 2019 ss 1le.

Just remove battery when you are done.. otherwise flat battery next time. May open mine up and add a off switch.

mines been in the garage scene 2012 with the same battery in it. I use it twice a year. Just used it a few nights ago. worked fine. sits out there even in the winter.

That is because when it came out 2016 was the current vehicles. It's been said to work on vehicles up to 2018.

I just got the Amazon tool as well. Had to go buy a 9V battery but it worked like an absolute charm. Maaaaaybe took me 30 seconds to do all 4

Maybe I got a bad one... I just sent it back.

Did you order a new one and did it work? I got the same one and mine didn't work on my 2019 ZLE either.
