Is it possible to fit Nitto tires or even Toyo r888 tires on the ZL1 1LE? And...

I know they would fit on the regular ZL1 with its original tire size but since the the ZL1 1LE has a different size tire setup I’m not sure if I’m limited to certain tires like only Michelins and not be able to put Nittos or toyo r888s on it. If I were to purchase the ZL1 1LE, in the future I would want to add some performance mods to it and would want a stickier street tire to be able to put the power down as much as possible.

Also can an A10 ZL1 1LE drag and roll race just as good as the regular A10 ZL1 or is the ZL1 1LE slower at a certain speed compared to the regular ZL1 due to its track setup causing drag? For an example if both A10 ZL1 and A10 ZL1 1LE were to race side by side would it be equal or would the wing on the 1LE eventually slow it down significantly at a certain speed allowing the ZL1 to pull ahead of it? I know it’s a track car and should be mainly used for track use but just curious if it can do those things just as well as the regular ZL1?

Yes in a long roll race or drag race with both A10s, the ZLE has a slight disadvantage due to aero designed for downforce, it is some of the best designed, fully functional aero in a stock sportscar.

Do some research on tire specs, anything close to the stock ZLE GY3Rs will fit. On my ZLE I run 315-F/345-R MPSC2s, they're sticky on street. Many people run R888Rs.

If you get the same size tire on the 1LE, any tire will fit. You can go 1 size up but to have 0 issues, stay with the stock size.

Yes, every tire is slightly smaller or bigger than others. But if you get what is the original tire size for both front and rear, it'll fit.

This goes for any vehicle.

If you're only interested in drag or roll racing and have little to no intent on going to a actual road course. Don't get a 1LE. Save some money and stick with the regular ZL1.

Unless you really want a ZL1 that looks a lot more exciting, and feels like a race car every time you drive :-)

I run the R88R's on the back in 325/30/19 on my 1LE and they are awesome! They are pretty noisy though. Like a mud tire on a truck. But man do they hook!
As far as aero drag, I've ran a Z06 which has the same LT4 from 40 to 140 and the cars were dead even.

I run the Khumo Ecsta ACR 355/30-19 rears and Khumo Ecsta 305/30-19 fronts. Rears require relocation of the wiring harness. One thing to note is that these tires have different speed ratings. Rears are good above 186 mph but the fronts (non ACR designation) are only good to 168 mph. For me it is a non-issue as I won't be getting anywhere near those speeds.

Awesome great to hear seems like the 1LE is plenty fast and is still capable of high straight line speed. How are the R888R tires in the rain?

355 in the rear? Wow I thought 335 in the rear of my vette were big. Do you have pics of the back end of your car with those tires?

Is the 1LE a lot more fun and entertaining to drive than the regular ZL1? I know the 1LE will handle better but the main differences between the two are suspension and cosmetic appearances right?
